GovTribe

Usage

Review completed GovTribe AI conversations, automations, credits, generated files, and Skills.

Open GovTribe AI Usage, or open GovTribe AI and select Usage above Automations, to review completed AI work and continue from its outputs. Usage is a read-only report; opening or sorting it does not create AI work, change a credit balance, or send the weekly email.

Choose the report view

Usage opens with You and the last 30 days selected. Choose 7 days, 30 days, or 90 days to change the report period.

The Account Owner and Account Administrators can switch to Account to review workspace-wide totals and Team activity. Standard users see only their own Usage report. To grant or remove administrator access, use account roles.

Reporting days use Eastern Time. An activity near midnight can therefore appear on a different date than it would in your local time zone.

Read the Snapshot

Snapshot compares the selected period with the immediately preceding period of the same length. Comparisons use whole percentages. When the prior period has activity for a metric, a small trend line shows the daily activity in the selected period.

MetricWhat it shows
CreditsGovTribe AI credits recorded for the completed work in this report.
ConversationsCompleted conversations with qualifying credit activity, including automation runs.
AutomationsCompleted conversations created by automation runs.
FilesAuthorized final output files attached to the included conversations.

Understand coverage and credit limits

Usage includes completed, customer-visible conversations and automation runs that you are authorized to see in the selected scope. You is limited to work you created. Account includes authorized workspace activity and is available to the Account Owner and Account Administrators. Automations are also counted as conversations, so the Automations metric is a subset of Conversations.

Recorded billing events are counted on the Eastern reporting day when they occurred. Accounts with unlimited or unbilled AI can also see activity when GovTribe has usable recorded pricing data. Estimated credits uses the same calculation as the conversation credit summary and assigns the whole lifetime estimate to the date of the conversation's latest provider response. An estimate can therefore include work completed before the selected dates; it is not a transaction-level charge for that period. Conversations with billing records use those records instead and are never counted twice. Valid zero-cost pricing remains valid; missing or unusable pricing is not guessed.

After the report loads, a notice below the title explains any coverage limitation:

  • Estimated credits means the report includes conversations without billing records.
  • Some activity isn’t included means completed conversations were excluded because there was not enough usage information to calculate their credits.
  • Estimated credits, some data is excluded combines both conditions in one warning.

Credit comparisons and trend lines are omitted when either period includes estimates. If every matching activity is excluded, the page says No activity can be shown for these dates instead of treating the account as new.

The Usage report and Details drawer do not expose transcripts, prompts, tool arguments or tool outputs, internal metering phases, or hidden Skills. Details shows only customer-visible tool names and exact call counts; credits are recorded for the activity as a whole and are not allocated to individual tools.

Usage organizes completed GovTribe AI work around conversations, Skills, and outputs. The account credit ledger remains available from the account billing area when you need transaction-level credit history.

Review Team activity

In Account view, Team activity appears after Snapshot and shows how each person is using GovTribe AI. It is not included in the personal You view.

Chart is selected by default. Each horizontal bar shows a person’s share of account credits for the selected period, with the credit total and quieter counts for conversations, automations, and files. Unbilled totals are labeled estimated credits. Select Files to show each person's share of files instead. Use Sort by to change the chart order.

Select Table to compare the same information in columns. Select Person, Conversations, Automations, Files, or Credits to sort in either direction. Both views show 10 people at a time; use the page controls to move through larger teams.

Review Activity

Activity lists completed AI conversations and automations for the selected person or account and date range. Each row shows its type, name, Skill, date, credits, and Outputs. When one activity created several authorized files, every available file is listed separately. No outputs means the activity has no generated output that you can access.

In Account view, Activity follows Team activity. In You view, Activity follows Snapshot. Outputs, then Skills, appear below Activity in both views.

The Activity table starts with 25 rows, scrolls independently from the rest of the report, and loads the next 25 as you approach the bottom. Select the Type, Skill, Date, or Credits heading to change the server-side sort. The arrow beside the heading shows the active direction, and a new sort restarts the list from its first page.

Select an Activity name to open Details. The drawer shows the full description, type, date, exact activity credits, turn count, every customer-facing Skill, every authorized output, and customer-visible tool call counts. In Account view, it also shows who created the activity; personal Details omits that field. Open conversation appears only when you created that conversation. The Account Owner and Administrators can review another team member's Usage details, but that access does not let them open the person's conversation or transcript.

Tool call counts describe which tools supported the activity. Credits are recorded for the activity as a whole and are not divided among individual tools.

Reuse Outputs

Outputs lists generated files from the included conversations and automations, with familiar file-type icons in the Type column, creation date, and recorded size. If an older file has no stored size, the table says Not recorded rather than estimating it. It shows 25 files per page, without repeating a file shared by multiple included conversations. Account includes your team's authorized outputs; You includes your own conversation outputs.

Select a file name to open Details. When you created the original conversation, its name links back to that conversation. The Account Owner and Administrators see a team member's original conversation name as plain text instead. Use Download for an authorized file, or choose Use in new chat to open an editable draft asking GovTribe AI to attach the existing file to its container. You can add your instructions before sending; clicking the link does not start an AI run or upload a duplicate. Normal workspace file permissions still apply.

Review Skills

Skills groups conversations and automations by the customer-facing GovTribe AI Skill used during the work. Work without a recorded customer-facing Skill appears as General. Background documentation lookup is not presented as a separate Skill, and Usage does not change the Skill attribution stored on a conversation. Select a linked Skill name to open its GovTribe Docs guide; Skills without a configured guide remain plain text.

Select Skill, Conversations, Share, or Credits in the Skills table header to sort. Select the same heading again to reverse the order.

Understand an empty report

When the selected period has no qualifying activity, Usage keeps one focused empty state and offers the next available actions:

  • View 90 days looks for older activity when a shorter period is empty.
  • View Account is available to the Account Owner and Administrators when their personal report is empty.
  • Start a chat opens a new GovTribe AI conversation.
  • Create an automation opens Automations for repeatable work.

When you have not used GovTribe AI yet, the page also suggests a few useful starting tasks.

When completed activity exists but all of it lacks usable credit information, the report instead shows No activity can be shown for these dates with the coverage warning described above.

Manage the weekly Usage email

The weekly Usage email is scheduled for Monday at 8 a.m. Eastern and includes all your qualifying completed GovTribe AI conversations and automations from the previous Monday through Sunday, most recent first. Each activity has its own card with the date, credits, type, Skill, a link to the original conversation, and individually named output links, or No outputs when none are available. Select View Usage below the cards to explore your usage on the website.

You receive it only when your own completed, visible GovTribe AI conversations or automation runs have recorded credit usage during that week, or when your unbilled work has usable recorded pricing and a provider response during that week. If no qualifying personal activity exists, no email is sent. Unbilled totals are labeled estimated credits. Signing in, viewing pages, unrelated credit activity, excluded work without usable pricing, and a coworker’s work do not trigger your email. The email does not include the account-wide view, page-only coverage notices, or a PDF attachment.

Open Profile and use Weekly GovTribe AI Usage to turn this email on or off. Your current preference is checked again before a queued email is sent.
