GovTribe AI capabilities and limits
Understand current GovTribe AI capabilities, FastTrack priority processing, practical limits, generated files, uploaded user files, automations, and when human review is required.
GovTribe AI helps you research GovTribe records, use your workspace context, draft capture materials, create files, and run supported automations. It is not a substitute for reviewing source records, official documents, submission instructions, or account-specific billing and access settings.
What GovTribe AI can do
GovTribe AI can help with work such as:
| Capability | Examples |
|---|---|
| Research GovTribe records | Summarize opportunities, compare vendors, inspect agency buying patterns, review awards, and find related records. |
| Use selected skills | Apply guided workflows for capture reviews, market intelligence, pricing support, proposal planning, document review, and visual analysis. |
| Work with files | Read supported uploaded user files, government files, and generated files when they are available to the conversation and your account can access them. |
| Create files | Generate documents, spreadsheets, reports, charts, summaries, and other supported outputs from a conversation. |
| Continue context | Use projects, conversations, memories, custom instructions, and personalization settings when those features are enabled. |
| Run supported automations | Execute saved prompts on supported schedules or events when automations are enabled and credits are available. |
Use GovTribe AI FastTrack
GovTribe AI FastTrack gives eligible accounts priority processing for supported GovTribe AI work. FastTrack is not activated by plan eligibility alone: the account must also have credits enabled for the AI work. Standard conversations use FastTrack when credit-billed GovTribe AI is active on a FastTrack-eligible account, and automations require credits to be enabled before they can run.
FastTrack changes the processing priority for eligible AI work. It does not change which GovTribe records, files, connectors, credits, plan limits, permissions, or workspace context GovTribe AI can use, and it does not remove the need to review source records before acting on an answer.
GovTribe AI FastTrack is included on Growth, Growth Plus, and Scale.
What GovTribe AI cannot do on its own
GovTribe AI has practical boundaries:
| Limit | What it means |
|---|---|
| It does not replace source review. | Verify deadlines, attachments, evaluation factors, eligibility, pricing, and compliance requirements against the underlying records and files. |
| It cannot use inaccessible files. | A file must be available to the workspace, visible to your account, and indexed or attached in a supported way before AI can use it. |
| It cannot guarantee exhaustive research. | GovTribe AI works from available data, tools, prompts, and context. Missing source data or vague prompts can produce incomplete answers. |
| It does not independently send external email. | GovTribe AI can draft content, but it does not autonomously email customers, agencies, or teammates unless a documented product workflow supports that action. |
| It does not promise unattended multi-day delivery. | Automations can run supported prompts, but they are not a guarantee of autonomous consulting work, continuous monitoring, or multi-day deliverables outside the documented automation behavior. |
| It cannot override account limits. | Plan limits, credits, permissions, connector access, and workspace visibility still apply. |
Use files and company context
GovTribe AI can use uploaded company assets when they are saved as User Files, associated with relevant pursuits or projects when useful, and available to your account.
Good company-context files include capability statements, past performance summaries, proposal outlines, debrief notes, pricing notes, market analysis, project descriptions, certifications, and approved boilerplate.
Useful prompts include:
Use our uploaded capability statements and past performance files to identify the strongest examples for this opportunity.Compare this solicitation against our saved proposal outline and flag sections that need to change.Find company assets related to cloud migration and adapt the language for this agency's requirements. For file management, see User files. For personalization settings that affect AI context, see Settings and personalization.
Understand generated files
GovTribe AI can create files during supported conversations and workflows. Generated files can appear in User Files when they are saved to the workspace and your account can access them.
Generated files are drafts. Review them before sharing, submitting, or relying on them for a decision. This is especially important for proposal language, pricing assumptions, compliance matrices, agency communications, charts, and spreadsheets.
Understand automations
Automations let GovTribe AI run a saved prompt on a schedule or supported event. The output depends on the prompt, selected skill, project context, available user files, connector configuration, credits, and permissions.
Use automations for repeatable review work, such as monitoring saved searches, summarizing new records, preparing weekly capture notes, or reviewing pursuit-related context. Do not assume an automation is monitoring everything in GovTribe unless the prompt and configured data sources actually describe that coverage.
Verify before acting
Before acting on AI output, review the underlying GovTribe records and files. Pay special attention to due dates, amendments, submission instructions, eligibility, set-aside status, incumbent claims, contract values, pricing assumptions, and file content.
If an answer affects a bid decision, proposal submission, customer communication, or billing/account action, use GovTribe AI as a drafting and analysis assistant, then confirm the final details in the source record or with the account owner.
