UNSPSC 91111801: Valet services

UNSPSC 91111801 Valet services is a Commodity code that encompasses professional parking attendant services and related traffic management at designated public facilities and commercial districts. State and local governments procure valet operations primarily through cities and municipalities managing public venues, downtown districts, and civic facilities where customer convenience and traffic flow are operational priorities. The work involves staffing, vehicle handling, lot management, and customer service delivery under municipal operational standards and safety requirements.

Recent state and local activity under this code is sparse. The City of Burleson issued RFP2026027 for Old Town Valet Services with a response date of July 16, 2026, seeking professional valet parking in the Old Town District under a fixed-fee agreement with no patron charge. However, the broader recent-opportunity sample shows significant UNSPSC misclassification: the City of Santa Monica's Human Services Grants Program (RFP due December 14, 2026) and the Washington State Department of Children, Youth & Families' Adolescent Transitional Living Program solicitation (RFQ due August 20, 2026) are human services and residential youth care contracts bearing no relationship to valet operations. This mismatch suggests either tagging errors by issuing bodies or a data feed issue. Geographic coverage and issuing-body concentration cannot be reliably assessed from the current sample. Practitioners pursuing this code should monitor city and county procurement channels for downtown revitalization, events management, and civic-venue RFPs, but recognize that current reporting volume is low and may not reflect true market activity.
