UNSPSC 25111912: Boom vangs

UNSPSC 25111912 Boom vangs is a Commodity code, but the recent state and local opportunities posted under this classification bear no relation to the code's nominal scope—boom vangs are sailing rigging components, while the solicitations document IT infrastructure procurements (data storage, network switches, and maintenance supplies). The mismatch suggests either a cataloging error in the state and local procurement system or a misalignment between the code assignment and actual purchasing activity. No relevant recent opportunities exist under this code.

The four recent records tagged to 25111912 span the City of Pembroke Pines, Florida (three IT hardware IFBs for ExaGrid backup storage and Cisco network infrastructure, posted August 2026 with September response dates), Northside Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas (a maintenance supplies and services IFB posted July 2026, due August 6), and Sourcewell on behalf of multiple Washington-state counties and national jurisdictions (a law enforcement equipment RFP posted May 2026). None of these solicitations involve rigging, marine equipment, or products consistent with the boom vang taxonomy. Until the code assignment is clarified or corrected in the underlying procurement database, this Commodity code does not surface actionable opportunity intelligence for business development in state and local markets.
