About this IDV
The federal contract IDV award is a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) issued by the U.S. Air Force to Xerox Corporation, a large business manufacturer of document management technology and services. The BPA, valued at $171,157.41, is for the leased provision of 31 Multi-Function Devices (MFDs) to the Air Force at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, with a period of performance through February 29, 2028. This BPA call was placed under Xerox's existing General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract. Additional BPA calls under this IDV provide for the lease of 49, 4, 363, and 202 MFDs, respectively, with total potential contract values exceeding $3.1 million. The scope of the BPA includes equipment configuration, delivery, installation, lifecycle support, maintenance, and related services to support the Air Force's managed print and document management requirements. This IDV does not utilize any small business set-asides, as Xerox is a large, for-profit manufacturer registered in the System for Award Management.
The original federal contract opportunity was a standing solicitation issued by GSA for its Office, Imaging and Document Solutions Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) contract, which allows federal agencies to procure a wide range of document management products and services. The solicitation was partially set aside for small businesses, with the aim of providing agencies access to the latest printing and imaging technologies, maintenance services, and related IT solutions. The anticipated total contract value for the MAS program ranges from $500 million to $1 billion, with the Air Force being one of the major customers leveraging these government-wide acquisition vehicles.
