About this opportunity
The Texas Woman's University (TWU) is seeking proposals from responsive and responsible proposers for development research services to establish a research program agenda for the Jane Nelson Institute for Women's Leadership (JNIWL). The successful proposer(s) will be tasked with identifying potential areas and topics of focus, presenting a proposed set of research topics that can be pursued by JNIWL, and developing a strategic plan to prepare for the launch of a JNIWL Research Center in 2024. The contract term is four years, with the possibility of follow-on work beyond the initial 2024 launch. Proposals are due by December 19, 2023 at 2:00 PM CT, and TWU plans to award a contract that will begin on the date of the last signature. TWU will evaluate proposals based on factors such as the proposer's qualifications, experience with similar projects, total price, and references.
TWU is a HUB-certified organization and requires HUB subcontracting for contracts over $100,000, although self-performing HUB firms are exempt from this requirement. TWU has set a budget range of $150,000 to $250,000 for this project and is not requiring bonding, but proof of insurance will be needed upon contract award. There are no specific incumbent vendors or current contractors listed, and TWU is interested in working with Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUBs) to achieve its diversity and inclusion goals.
