A fuel price adjustment clause applies to subgrade preparation, compacted soil liner, leachate column stone, and operational cover, calculated using SCDOT monthly fuel price indices with triggers at 1.10 (upward) and 0.90 (downward) ratios.
A 5 percent bid bond and performance and payment bond equal to the total bid price (due within fifteen working days of award) are required. Insurance requirements include $1,000,000 per occurrence general liability, $1,000,000 per occurrence automobile liability, and statutory workers' compensation. The County retains 10 percent from all monthly invoices, released upon satisfactory completion.

Questions are due August 10, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Award is anticipated September 4, 2026, with contract negotiations September 4–18 and Notice to Proceed expected September 18, 2026.
