The procuring agency seeks qualified vendors to provide skilled maintenance workers capable of performing preventive and corrective maintenance services across the 13-acre facility, including HVAC maintenance, minor carpentry, minor plumbing, minor electrical work, landscaping and grounds maintenance, common area and exterior maintenance, and implementation of a preventive maintenance program. Bidders must demonstrate a minimum of three years of combined experience in these service areas and submit a single hourly rate encompassing all costs including salaries, overhead, fringe benefits, operating margin, labor, materials, permits, mileage, and required insurance coverage. The estimated quantity is 1,920 hours over the contract term, with work scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding a one-hour lunch break. Key deadlines include a written technical questions deadline of May 13, 2026, at 5:00 PM, with bids due on May 19, 2026, at 5:00 PM, followed by a public bid opening on May 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Florida Department of Transportation Procurement Office in Tampa. The contract term commences July 1, 2026, and continues through June 30, 2027, with potential renewal for up to three additional years upon mutual written agreement and satisfactory performance evaluation.

All bidders must be registered in the State of Florida's MyFloridaMarketplace system, and out-of-state corporations, limited liability companies, and limited partnerships must obtain authorization to do business in Florida through the Florida Department of State. Vendors must maintain general liability insurance with minimum combined bodily injury limits of $200,000 per person and $300,000 per occurrence, plus property damage insurance of $200,000 per occurrence prior to contract commencement. The Department will provide a Contract Manager (Junior Canley), electricity, restrooms, water, and parking at the facility. Vendors are required to submit monthly written reports documenting maintenance activities, inspection findings, corrective actions, outstanding issues, system performance, parts and materials used, and service logs. All payments resulting from this competitive solicitation are subject to the MyFloridaMarketplace Transaction Fee. While no specific award value or budget range is explicitly stated in the documentation, the estimated 1,920 hours over the contract term provides a baseline for cost projections based on submitted hourly rates.
