About this opportunity
The Tennessee Department of Transportation is soliciting bids on televisions and mounting brackets under ITB 40100-14035, with responses due November 6, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. CST. The State intends to award a single contractor for a five-year as-needed supply contract across TDOT headquarters in Nashville and four regional offices in Knoxville, Chattanooga, Jackson, and Nashville.
The scope requires either 55-inch or 65-inch flat-panel LED televisions meeting minimum specifications including 4K resolution, three HDMI inputs, USB 2.0 input, built-in wireless and wired network connectivity, wireless screen casting, and 12-month manufacturer's warranty. The RFB requests specific quantities: 150 units of 65-inch LG televisions (Model 65UR640S9UD), 150 units of 55-inch LG televisions (Model 55UP8000PUA/R), and 300 units of Emerald flat-panel mounts (Model SM-720-9361), with delivery to multiple statewide locations by November 11, 2026. Mounting brackets must support the weight and display size of proposed televisions, maintain compatibility with all mounting-hole patterns, and include tilting or full-motion tilt-and-swivel options with 12-month warranty. All equipment ships FOB Destination with the contractor bearing full responsibility for transportation, packing, handling, and insurance. Deliveries must occur during business hours (7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding state holidays), with 48-hour advance email notification to tdot.it.invoices@tn.gov required for TDOT Headquarters deliveries.
Respondents must register with the Tennessee Supplier Portal prior to contract issuance, submit unit pricing for each line item in U.S. dollars, certify compliance with Tennessee Department of General Services regulations, provide sales and use tax registration documentation, and affirm compliance with the Iran Divestment Act and foreign adversary restrictions. Site visits are encouraged; the State will not allow allowances for errors due to failure to visit the site. Written questions are due October 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. Award is made to the lowest-cost responsive and responsible respondent. All quoted prices must remain firm for 365 days from contract execution. The contractor must maintain commercial general liability insurance of at least one million dollars per occurrence and two million dollars aggregate, plus one million dollars workers' compensation coverage.
