About this opportunity

The State of New Jersey, through the Department of the Treasury - Division of Purchase and Property, is procuring surveillance and access control security systems, including maintenance, repair, and installation services, for various state-owned and leased facilities located primarily in the northern and southern regions of the state, including Mercer County and the City of Trenton. The contract will be awarded by geographic zone, with a Primary Contractor, Secondary Contractor, and Backup Contractor designated for each the North and South zones. The contract term is 3 years with an option to extend up to 2 additional years. Bidders must be certified by ACRE, Co. (formerly RS2 Technologies, LLC.) on the "Access It! Universal" (AIU) security system and OSSI Security Inc. on "Intelli-Site ACS" (iSite). Pricing is requested on an all-inclusive hourly rate basis, with the contractor required to apply discounts received from suppliers to the State's final cost. Bidders will also be eligible to participate in a mini-bid process for potential Project Service Tasks and Consulting Services.

The bid solicitation includes a partial set-aside for Small Businesses. The current contract being re-procured is T2424 Surveillance & Access Control Security Systems, and the State intends to make multiple awards. The State does not accept proposed modifications to the standard terms and conditions, stating that the terms must be consistent for all potential bidders. The bid submission due date is January 10, 2024, and the State reserves the right to terminate the contract for cause or convenience.
