Battery sizing must incorporate a 1.15 temperature correction factor, 1.10 design margin, 1.25 aging factor, and 1.75 volts per cell final voltage per IEEE Standard 485 (2020). Van Meter racks have maximum dimensions of 240 inches length by 51 inches height by 18 inches width; Cane Island racks, 250 inches length by 26 inches height by 32 inches width. KUA prefers flush post configurations with extended terminal posts. All equipment must conform to ANSI, NEMA, and IEEE standards. Bidders must acknowledge Addendum No. 1 (issued June 10, 2026) and may propose equivalent manufacturers with clear identification of alternates.

General Liability insurance of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate is required. Pricing must be firm, fixed, and F.O.B. destination with transportation prepaid, valid for 90 days from bid opening.
