About this opportunity
The University of Texas at Austin, Campus Construction ("the University") is soliciting statements of qualifications from professional services firms, including landscape architects, to provide architectural services on an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) basis. The services will cover various minor ($10 million or less) projects across the University's main campus, Pickle Research Campus, Marine Science Institute, McDonald Observatory, Winedale Historical Center, and other remote facilities in Travis County and the City of Austin. The successful respondents will be awarded a one-year contract with four optional one-year renewals. Qualifications will be evaluated based on the firms' in-house resources, past project experience, management approach, and knowledge of best practices. A pre-proposal conference is scheduled for October 2, 2023, and submissions are due by October 16, 2023.
The University has determined that subcontracting opportunities are probable, and Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) subcontracting plans will be required for projects valued at $100,000 or more. The University does not have a set minimum or maximum number of firms that will receive awards, and current master agreement holders must resubmit under this RFQ. The contract will be negotiated on a per-project basis, subject to the University of Texas System Board of Regents fee schedule, and there is no guaranteed minimum amount of work.
