About this file
This document is a Pre-Submittal Conference Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for ongoing Professional Architectural/Landscape Architectural Services issued by The University of Texas at Austin, Campus Construction. The RFQ covers architectural and landscape architectural professional services for various minor ($10M or less) projects across multiple UT Austin campuses, including the main campus, Pickle Research Campus, Marine Science Institute, McDonald Observatory, Winedale Historical Center, and other remote facilities. The RFQ provides details on the types of projects, submission requirements, HUB and small business participation, important dates, and contacts for questions. Submissions are due on October 16, 2023, by 2 PM CST, and will be evaluated based on the qualifications and experience outlined in Section 4 of the RFQ. The successful respondents will be awarded a one-year contract with four optional one-year renewals. A subsequent RFQ will be issued for specialty professional services such as interior design, environmental surveys, and fire and life safety engineering.
The RFQ specifies that no hard copies will be accepted, and all submissions must be made electronically through the provided UT Box links. The HUB Subcontracting Plan is required for projects totaling $100,000 or more. Respondents are encouraged to review the contract terms included in the RFQ, as no revisions will be permitted.
