About this file

This document is a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by The University of Texas at Austin, Campus Construction ("Owner" or "University") to solicit statements of qualifications from Professional Services firms for Architectural Professional Services, including Landscape Architects, at the University's main campus, Pickle Research Campus, Marine Science Institute, McDonald Observatory, Winedale Historical Center, and other remote facilities. The RFQ is the first step in a possible two-step process for selecting Engineering firm(s) to provide these services on an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) basis. The RFQ details the required qualifications and experience, as well as the evaluation criteria and scoring methodology.

The RFQ covers a wide range of architectural disciplines, including laboratory, research, and related facilities; multifunctional areas; office renovations; and historical and ADA-specific architecture. Respondents are required to provide information on their in-house resources, past project experience, management approach, and knowledge of best practices. The University reserves the right to contact references and other sources during the RFQ process. The selected firm(s) will be awarded a Master Agreement and provide services on an as-needed basis.
