About this opportunity

The Maryland Department of General Services Office of State Procurement is seeking bids for a one-time contract to replace the state's existing terrestrial microwave system radios. The contract requires the successful bidder to supply 13 replacement microwave radio systems that must be compatible with the state's existing equipment, support both ASI and IP traffic in a redundant configuration, and meet FCC Part 101 requirements. The replacement radios must be fully installed and accepted within 60 days of delivery, not to exceed 90 days. Bidders can invoice 85% of the contract amount upon complete delivery of all required materials. Bids are due by June 11, 2021, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.

There is no Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) or Veteran-owned Small Business Enterprise (VSBE) subcontracting goal for this procurement. Funding is available and the contract will be paid for by the Maryland Public Television (MPT). The IFB does not specify an incumbent vendor or current contract value, but indicates that the successful supplier must provide all necessary equipment, materials, and supplies for installation, while MPT will provide the servers.
