About this opportunity
The State of Maine Division of Purchases is soliciting quotations for purchase and installation of videoconferencing equipment, with responses due January 22, 2015. All quotations must be submitted electronically through the State of Maine's Vendor Self Service (VSS) platform by 2:00 p.m. local time on the due date.
The scope includes Mondopad interactive display systems with detailed hardware, software, and connectivity specifications. Mondopad units must support collaborative digital communication, presentations, videoconferencing, and interactive meetings with integrated audio and video conferencing capabilities, touch-screen functionality, wireless connectivity, and compatibility with various operating systems. Systems must comply with government IT infrastructure and security standards, including encryption protocols and user authentication requirements, as well as accessibility standards for users with disabilities. Vendors must supply comprehensive technical support and warranty provisions.
Quotations must be priced on a unit basis, with all prices including transportation under FOB Destination terms. The State of Maine is tax-exempt; prices must exclude applicable taxes. Payment terms are net 30 days from receipt of a correct invoice. Bid prices must remain valid for the evaluation period specified in the RFQ.
The State reserves the right to award based on lowest price or best value criteria incorporating quality, conformity with specifications, delivery time, and cost, with price receiving a minimum of 25 percent weight. The State may adjust quantities up to 10 percent, partially accept quotations, reject any or all bids, and terminate for convenience. No sub-agreements may be executed without prior written approval from the Director of the Division of Purchases. Questions must be submitted through the Q&A List tab in VSS; answers obtained through other channels are not valid. All responses and bid readings are posted in VSS after award determination.
