About this opportunity

West Whiteland Township is soliciting quotes from qualified sign fabricators to develop and potentially install park signage as part of a comprehensive township-wide wayfinding and identity improvement initiative. The project, designed by MERJE, an environmental graphic design consultant, aims to enhance navigation and visitor experience across various parks. Fabricators will be responsible for producing signage according to the detailed specifications outlined in the attached Parks Signage Manual, which provides comprehensive design guidelines and technical requirements. The procurement is currently focused on obtaining pricing for capital purchases to support budgeting efforts. Interested sign fabricators must carefully review the attached documents, including the Scope of Work and Parks Signage Manual, to understand the precise design parameters and fabrication specifications. The solicitation was posted on August 15, 2025, with quotes due by September 5, 2025, providing potential vendors approximately three weeks to prepare and submit their proposals. Vendors will need to demonstrate technical capability, design precision, and the ability to meet the township's specific signage standards.

While the procurement documents do not explicitly mention specific set-aside designations or vendor restrictions, interested sign fabricators should be professionally qualified with demonstrated experience in municipal park signage production. The documentation suggests a preference for vendors with specialized graphic fabrication skills and the ability to interpret complex design specifications. No incumbent vendor information is directly provided in the available documentation. The project appears to be a capital investment initiative, though specific budget ranges are not disclosed in the provided materials. Potential vendors should be prepared to provide comprehensive quotes that cover both sign fabrication and optional installation services. The project represents an opportunity for sign fabrication firms to contribute to a significant municipal wayfinding and identity enhancement project for West Whiteland Township's park system.
