About this opportunity
The Public Utilities Commission of Nevada (PUCN) is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide onsite scanner maintenance services at their offices in Carson City and Las Vegas. The PUCN is procuring a one-year contract, with options to extend for up to three additional years, for responsive on-site maintenance and repair services on their Canon scanners. Vendors must be able to provide service within 24 hours and perform scheduled periodic maintenance and ad hoc services. Proposals are due by March 30, 2023, and will be evaluated based on the vendor's responsibility, responsiveness, and cost. The PUCN anticipates awarding the contract on or about March 31, 2023, contingent on successful negotiations and Board of Examiners approval. Vendors must submit pricing per scanner from the provided list for the projected year of service, and invoices will be submitted annually on July 1st, with payment due within 30 days of receipt and agency approval.
The PUCN has not set aside this opportunity for any specific types of enterprises. The current maintenance contract is held by High Sierra Business Systems, and the scanners being maintained are 5 years old, purchased in April 2018. The PUCN has historically only needed to purchase roller kits as expendable parts. The PUCN has not provided any information on the anticipated award value or budget range for this contract opportunity.
