Nutanix 1 Node GPU Hardware Platform

Snow College, located in Utah, issued an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for two Nutanix 1 Node GPU Hardware Platforms (NX-3155G-G6 All Flash) through a public procurement process. The technical specifications for the hardware include Dual Intel Xeon Silver 4116 Processors, 192GB Memory, 24TB HDD, 960GB SSD, Dual Port 10GbE Network Adapter, Nutanix PRO license, and 1 Year 24/7 Maintenance & Support. The solicitation was released on 10/29/2019, with bids to be opened at 11:15 AM MDT and the submission deadline set for 10/31/2019 at 5:00 PM MDT. Evaluation criteria focused on the lowest overall bid for items meeting technical specifications, with additional consideration given to the earliest delivery date. Vendors were required to submit bid documents through the Sciquest/Jaggaer/U3P portal, preferably in PDF format, and complete several prerequisites including vendor registration, W9 submission, and agreement to terms and conditions.

The procurement did not specify specific set-aside designations or restrictions on vendor types. The delivery location was designated as Snow College IT at 150 College Ave, Ephraim, UT 84627, with the possibility of multiple vendors potentially receiving awards. The solicitation indicated that Snow College is a tax-exempt institution, and all costs were to be included in the bid price. The bid document emphasized strict compliance with submission requirements and prohibited vendors from adding extra terms or conditions. Training Services Inc was ultimately awarded the contract for having the lowest cost fully responsive bid with the shortest delivery time. While specific award values were not explicitly stated in the available documentation, the procurement was for two hardware platforms with comprehensive technical specifications and maintenance support.
