The basis of design is the Fulton Endura XE Model EXE-2000 Condensing Hydronic Boiler or District-approved equivalent, and proposers must demonstrate BAS integration capability with the District's Yamas Building Automation System and confirm local factory-authorized service support availability.
The scope includes removal and disposal of existing equipment, furnishing and installation of two high-efficiency condensing boilers, associated mechanical and electrical work, venting, plumbing, controls integration, startup and commissioning, and training of District personnel. The District has provided detailed mechanical record drawings specifying two Hamilton Engineering EVO HW 1999 condensing boilers rated at 1,900 MBTU output (sea level) operating at 208V single-phase, four air handlers with capacities ranging from 14,000 to 28,000 CFM, 47 VAV boxes, expansion tanks, air separators, circulation pumps, glycol feed systems with 40% propylene glycol, and controls by Schneider Electric TAC. Specifications mandate SMACNA ductwork standards, NEBB air balancing certification, and seismic anchoring per specification 230548. A fixed-cost allowance of $26,036.98 is specified for slot diffusers from approved manufacturers. The facility is located at 400 East 579 South, Mount Pleasant, Utah 84647 at an elevation of 5,830 feet.
The estimated total project cost is approximately $300,000. Substantial Completion is required by October 30, 2026, with Final Completion by November 15, 2026; liquidated damages of $500 per calendar day apply for missing Substantial Completion. The successful contractor must maintain Commercial General Liability of $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate, provide a three-year labor and workmanship warranty from Final Completion, and execute Performance and Payment Bonds. The District anticipates board approval and award by August 18, 2026, with Notice to Proceed on August 21. Evaluation criteria include qualifications, experience, technical compliance, schedule capability, service support, references, and cost.
