Welsh administration building in Polk County, Florida. The procurement seeks a qualified, state-licensed contractor to replace an existing non-compliant window with an ADA-compliant teller window, with the successful bidder responsible for obtaining all necessary permits. Key dates for this procurement include a mandatory pre-bid conference on 9/23/2025 at 12:00 PM EST located at 1701 W Carroll St, Kissimmee, with questions due by 10/7/2025 and final bids due by 10/14/2025 at 2:00 PM EST. Contractor qualifications include being a State of Florida licensed/certified provider with a minimum of four commercial references and one year of verifiable experience. The bid is to be submitted as a comprehensive lump sum price that encompasses all associated costs including overhead, profit, labor, equipment, materials, and additional expenses.
The solicitation does not explicitly indicate specific set-aside designations for disadvantaged enterprises. Contractors must submit multiple required forms including a Conflict of Interest Statement, Drug-Free Workplace Certification, and Vendor Access to KUA Systems Certification. Insurance requirements are structured with tiered coverage, mandating a minimum of $1,000,000 in general liability coverage per occurrence, with additional requirements for workers' compensation and potential supplemental insurance. While a specific budget range is not detailed, the procurement appears to be a one-time purchase for a specific renovation project. The contract will require comprehensive documentation and compliance with KUA's service protocols, with the potential for modifications or adjustments to the scope of work during the contract's lifecycle. Interested contractors must demonstrate technical competence, financial stability, and the ability to complete the lobby enhancement project according to the specified requirements and standards.
