The contract appears open to private contractors with demonstrated capabilities in emergency management, debris monitoring, and disaster recovery services. Potential respondents must meet comprehensive insurance requirements, provide immigration/entitlement affidavits, and comply with Title VI regulations. While no incumbent vendors are specifically mentioned, the county emphasizes the importance of having pre-selected private contractors who can supplement county work crews during emergency scenarios. Payments will be issued according to individual task orders, and the county reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and potentially make multiple awards if deemed advantageous. The contract structure allows for an initial one-year period with four optional one-year renewal periods, providing flexibility for both the county and the selected contractor(s) in managing long-term emergency preparedness needs.
