This project is subject to prevailing wage requirements as a construction contract exceeding $25,000, with bidders required to register with the California Department of Industrial Relations and comply with all applicable wage determinations established by the Sacramento County Labor Compliance Program. The contractor must comply with the Advanced Clean Fleets regulation if applicable and submit certificates of compliance or exemptions by 4:00 p.m. on the Monday following bid opening. Extensive federal compliance requirements apply, including Title VI non-discrimination assurances, Davis-Bacon wage determinations, Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act provisions, and Federal Highway Administration requirements outlined in FHWA Form 1273.
