About this opportunity

The State of Nevada, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, is soliciting qualified vendors through Request for Qualifications (RFQ) 99SWC-S2380 for fire fuels reduction services, including aerial seeding, liquid applications, wildlife surveys, and aerial wildlife capture and transport. The intent is to qualify vendors from which agencies will request bids on an as-needed basis. Vendors must provide evidence of the required employee knowledge and skills through experience to be considered. The contract term is expected to be four years, with an optional two-year extension, and the anticipated start date is February 13, 2024, subject to Board of Examiners approval. The State may award one or more contracts and will evaluate proposals based on criteria such as company background, staff resumes, subcontractor information, and financial documentation.

The contract is an amendment to existing contracts, so vendors currently under contract do not need to propose. The State will maintain confidentiality of appropriately labeled proprietary information, and the resulting contract(s) may be used by the University and Community College System, the Court System, the Legislative Counsel Bureau, and Political Subdivisions, though they are not required to do so. Pricing will be provided on an as-needed basis for individual projects, and the State Purchasing Division will administer the contract(s). The State reserves the right to reject proposals, limit the scope of work, and alter or withdraw the solicitation at any time prior to contract award.
