About this opportunity
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) is seeking to expand its Computerized Criminal History System through a single-source procurement of Data Projects Support Services. The requested services include maintenance, operational and technical support for FDLE's existing systems, such as the Florida Incident-Based Reporting System (FIBRS), Criminal Justice Data Transparency (CJDT), and Uniform Arrest Affidavit (UAA). FDLE has determined that GCOM Software, Inc. is the sole source capable of providing the necessary end-to-end support for these integrated systems, as the key application software is proprietary to GCOM. The estimated dollar amount for this single-source contract is $17,000,000, with a term of approximately 5.5 years. FDLE is providing notice of its intended decision to enter into this single-source purchase contract in accordance with Florida statutes and administrative code.
This procurement is restricted to GCOM Software, Inc. as the sole source vendor capable of maintaining the GCOM products that comprise the Data Projects systems. No set-aside designations or restrictions on types of organizations have been identified. The incumbent vendor is GCOM Software, Inc., which currently provides the software and support for FDLE's existing criminal justice data systems that require integration with the expanded Computerized Criminal History System.
