About this opportunity

The Columbia County School District (CCSD) in Georgia is soliciting competitive proposals for high-speed duplicating machines, supplies, and maintenance services under Request Number HC-11-15-24A. The district is seeking pricing for color drums and ink, and the machines must be able to easily copy on a variety of paper types, including regular copy paper, construction paper, envelopes, index cards, and card stock. The machines should have capabilities similar to the EZ221, including the ability to enlarge and reduce. Proposals are due by November 15, 2024 at 2:00 pm, and the contract period would commence on or about July 1, 2025, continuing for five one-year periods, with the option to extend annually. Vendors must provide a response time for maintenance within 24 hours and have technicians within a 60-mile radius of Columbia County. They must also remove and dispose of the current Savin and Duplo machines from each school.

The RFB outlines three pricing formats: cost per copy including the machine, ink, and masters; cost per machine if the school system wishes to purchase the machines; and cost per copy for maintenance and supplies. The school system also has the option to test up to three machines for two weeks before making a decision. There are no set-aside designations or restrictions on the types of organizations that can respond, and the RFB does not mention any incumbent vendors or current contractors. The total budget or award value for this opportunity is not specified.
