All square footage is estimated and subject to verification. The vendor must use grinding method for mastic removal with HEPA vacuums throughout, perform work in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and Illinois Department of Public Health standards, provide full containment barriers and negative air systems, coordinate with the facility's Chief Engineer, and schedule work outside normal hours or during weekends. A licensed asbestos designer is required if tiles become friable. The vendor must be licensed and certified to perform asbestos abatement in Illinois and submit daily work logs, waste manifests, air monitoring results, and final clearance reports.
