About this opportunity
The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking qualified respondents to develop a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher Professional Development and Training project. The project aims to provide services, activities, professional development, and training for CTE teachers across Texas Local Education Agencies (LEAs) to support quality CTE programs. Key objectives include reviewing CTE teacher training needs, designing content for TEALearn digital courses, and planning and delivering regional in-person and virtual trainings for both new and experienced CTE teachers. The project term is from contract execution to August 31, 2023, with two optional one-year renewals. Respondents must submit a detailed Task, Activity, Deliverable, and Budget Plan, and pricing must be based on satisfactory completion and acceptance of deliverables. TEA will select the proposal that provides the best value based on technical, management, and budget criteria, as well as innovation.
The procurement has a Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) subcontracting goal of 26%. Responding vendors, regardless of their HUB certification status, must submit a completed HUB Subcontracting Plan (HSP) detailing their subcontracting intentions and efforts to use Texas certified HUB vendors. The jurisdictions involved in this opportunity include Travis County and the city of Austin.
