About this opportunity

Alpine School District is issuing an Invitation for Bids (ASDEP102DS) for paper supplies to serve the district warehouse and over 120 locations, with bids due October 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. Mountain Time. Multiple contract awards will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder per line item.

The scope encompasses 82 line items of educational paper products—including butcher paper, construction paper in multiple colors and sizes, drawing paper, graph paper, index paper, newsprint, oak tag, railroad board, bond paper, and color bright paper—with quantities ranging from 1 to 3,072 units per line item. All paper must be domestic with identified mill names and catalog or manufacturer part numbers. Bidders may propose approved alternate brands or specifications with samples required by the closing date; International Paper is not acceptable. Products not available within 60 days of order require estimated delivery-time notation. Pricing must be quoted to the tenth decimal place on a per-unit basis, FOB delivered, with no additional charges for delivery, express shipping, packing, cartage, insurance, or other ancillary costs unless specifically included in the bid and approved by Alpine School District. Unit cost governs if calculation errors exist. Shipping must be in full cases when ordered as full cases and palletized when possible; the district retains the right to refuse shipments of individually shipped reams without prior approval.

Bidders must submit completed cost sheets electronically through Bonfire and are encouraged to do so at least two days before the deadline. Bids containing exceptions or additions to standard terms and conditions will be rejected. Pricing is guaranteed until order placement, no more than 30 days following award. The contract is governed by Utah law and Utah procurement code. The one-year warranty covers repair, replacement, or refund at no cost to the district. The district retains the right to terminate with 60 days' notice without cause or immediately for cause after a 10-business-day cure period.
