About this opportunity

Jones County School System (JCSS) in Gray, Georgia, is seeking responsive and responsible vendors to provide and install 30 ViewSonic IFP7550-Gen 5 interactive flat panels equipped with wireless network cards (VB-WIFI-005 Wireless AC adapters) and wall mounts, along with associated installation and removal services. The procurement requires vendors to remove existing whiteboards, projectors, projector mounts, and associated cabling, then install the new interactive flat panels according to detailed specifications with optional services including transportation, installation, cable reconnection and testing, and packaging of removed equipment. The contract term runs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with one option to renew annually at the district's discretion. The eRFP was released April 16, 2026, with a mandatory virtual bidders conference scheduled for April 28, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. ET via Zoom; written questions must be submitted by April 23, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. ET with responses provided by April 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. ET; and proposals are due May 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. ET. Evaluation is scheduled for completion on or about May 27, 2026, with a Notice of Intent to Award expected on or about June 1, 2026, and a Notice of Award approximately 10 calendar days thereafter. Vendors must submit two separate sealed documents—a technical proposal containing mandatory forms and specification compliance information without pricing, and a cost proposal using the district-provided worksheet. Evaluation criteria include mandatory requirements (pass/fail), quality of solution (30 points), prior experience (30 points), and cost (40 points), with the responsive and responsible vendor achieving the highest combined score receiving the award. All proposals must comply with submission instructions including mandatory bidders conference attendance, and vendors must maintain standard insurance coverage including Workers Compensation and Commercial General Liability with $1,000,000 per occurrence limits and Automobile Liability with combined single limits of $1,000,000.

The procurement does not identify specific set-aside designations or restrictions limiting organizational types from responding; however, vendors must certify compliance with Georgia's Security and Immigration Compliance Act and the Illegal Immigration Reform Act of 2011 by completing appropriate affidavits and registering with a federal work authorization program such as E-Verify. No incumbent vendor is identified in the solicitation documents. Vendors must comply with all Jones County School System Standard Terms and Conditions, including pricing remaining firm for one year from award date, FOB Destination pricing with inside delivery included, pass-through of any manufacturer price decreases or rebates, and compliance with E-Verify work authorization verification, debarred/suspended status certification, civil rights compliance, and background checks for on-site personnel. Vendors must also certify compliance with collusion and anti-fraud regulations under Official Code of Georgia Annotated Sections 45-10-20 et seq. and 50-5-67, and certify drug-free and smoke-free workplace standards. The procurement documents do not specify an overall award value or budget range, though pricing is requested on a unit cost basis for interactive panels, wireless cards, warranty coverage, and labor services including uninstall, installation, and transport activities to facilitate transparent cost evaluation across all line items.
