About this opportunity

The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration Veterans Integrated Service Network 23 is seeking a construction contractor to comprehensively renovate Wing 4B of a locked mental health ward located in North River, North Dakota. The project requires extensive renovation work including hard wall construction barriers, demolition of floors and ceilings, flooring modifications, and installation of access panels with specific fire code compliance. Critical construction duties include HVAC upgrades, lighting improvements, plumbing work, fire suppression system installations, and overall facility modernization. The solicitation is specifically for Solicitation Number 36C26325B00090002, with proposals due by May 14, 2025. Contractors must demonstrate strict adherence to patient safety protocols, implement ligature-resistant construction methods, and coordinate patient relocations with VA nursing staff during different construction phases.
