All submersible pumps must be non-clog type with explosion-proof motors rated for Class I Groups C & D hazardous locations, ISO-9001 certified, manufactured by vendors with ten years' industry experience and three Mid-Atlantic references. The Project Manager and Superintendent each require minimum seven years' experience in wastewater pumping and construction, demonstrated on at least three similar projects including pumping systems and controls, plus at least one blower project. Control panels must be NEMA 12K, 304 stainless steel, 480-volt, 3-phase, 60 Hz with programmable relay logic and HMI monitoring screens. Manufacturer field service engineers must conduct one day minimum on-site testing and staff instruction at no cost to the government. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for July 27 at 0900 AM EST (registration required by July 23 at 1500 PM EST). Performance period is 270 calendar days from notice to proceed, with work commencing within ten days of NTP. Award uses Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) methodology. NAICS code is 238220 (Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors); Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates apply.
