About this opportunity

The 144th Fighter Wing, California Air National Guard, seeks window awnings with installation at Fresno Air National Guard Base, with quotes due September 11, 2026 at 3 p.m. PDT. The procurement is a 100% Small Business set-aside, precluding non-small-business participation.

Place of performance is Building 135 (south-facing exterior) at Fresno Air National Guard Base, Fresno, California. The scope requires furnishing, installing, and completing all project management, labor, materials, and equipment for 21 window awnings across five size categories: four awnings at 96" × 67", one at 16' × 8' (floor-to-ceiling), four at 144" × 67", and twelve at 168" × 67". All awnings must feature a minimum 4-foot projection from the wall/window surface and minimum 2–3 foot overhang below the window top, with a slanted design. Acceptable materials include aluminum, sheet metal, or fabric (solution-dyed acrylic or better with high-performance PTFE thread). All awnings must be wind-load resistant to 100 mph or better, securely anchored to prevent water intrusion, and painted with commercial exterior grade paint in a color to be determined post-award. The contractor must submit material submittals on AF Form 3000 before installation.

Period of performance does not exceed 60 calendar days from contract award. Work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no weekend or federal holiday work without prior Contracting Officer's Representative coordination. The contract will be awarded as Firm Fixed Price without negotiations; offerors must submit quotes electronically to jarrod.sanchez@us.af.mil and justin.scales.1@us.af.mil. All quoters must possess a CAGE code and be registered with SAM.gov. A site visit is available September 1, 2026 at 9 a.m. at the West gate (near 5323 E McKinley Ave); attendees must complete DBIDS pre-enrollment, be listed on the Base Access Form, and possess Real ID or equivalent. The NAICS code is 238350. Submitted offers remain valid until September 30, 2026. Amendment 0001 (effective September 9, 2026) extended the due date and updated PWS specifications sections 3.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.2.1, 3.1.4, and 5.2.
