About this opportunity
The Bureau of Reclamation seeks wash rack maintenance services at Hoover Dam in Boulder City, Nevada, with quotes due June 3, 2026, at 5:00 PM Pacific Time. This is a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) 100% set-aside issued as a Request for Quote.
Place of performance is the Hoover Dam Central Warehouse, U.S. Highway 93/NV State Route 172, Boulder City, Nevada 89005. The contract runs for five years from June 5, 2026, through June 5, 2031, with monthly maintenance required at intervals no less than once per month, plus pit pumping approximately every 90 days and emergency services as needed.
Scope includes comprehensive testing, inspection, and maintenance of a Water Reclamation System Model 32+ (WRS Cascade Engineering Inc.), encompassing reagent pumps, skimming systems, sludge removal systems, pH sensors, collection pits, electrically energized components, filter media inspection and cleaning, and parts replacement. The contractor must provide all hoses, dispose of waste and solids at its own cost, and coordinate service scheduling annually with the customer. Contractor personnel will be escorted by Bureau of Reclamation employees in secure areas and will not receive badges.
Quotes must include completed SF-1449, a price schedule broken into monthly and yearly costs across five years, technical capability demonstration with at least two past project examples and points of contact, and warranty details for all components and workmanship. Evaluation weighs technical capability, schedule, past performance, and price to determine best value.
Service Contract Labor Standards apply under the Clark County, Nevada wage determination, which establishes prevailing hourly wages, health and welfare fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour, and mandatory paid leave accruals. All quotes must acknowledge receipt of Amendments 0001, 0002, and 0003 prior to submission deadline. A mandatory site visit occurred May 27, 2026, at 9:30 AM. The contracting officer is Luis Gallardo; questions and submissions go to noah_maye@ios.doi.gov.
