About this opportunity

The Department of Justice Bureau of Prisons Correctional Facilities seeks vehicle leveling spacers and skid plates via a small business set-aside RFQ with proposals due August 7, 2026 at 2:00 PM EST; questions were due July 31, 2026. The non-manufacturer rule applies, requiring non-manufacturer recipients to source products from a small business manufacturer.

This is a one-year base plus four-year option fixed-price indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract. Guaranteed minimum quantity is 100 items; estimated not-to-exceed is 10,000 items over contract life. Place of performance includes Bastrop, Texas and Victorville, California, with delivery F.O.B. destination to those locations. Required products are front-leveling kits for 2026 Ford Expeditions and F-150s and Chevrolet Tahoes and Silverado 1500s, and skid plate kits for 2026 Ford F-150 crew cab 4x4 vehicles. The contract includes an Economic Price Adjustment tied to Producer Price Index PCU336330336330 for NAICS 336330, with increases capped at 10 percent of original unit price. Delivery is required within 60 working days of each delivery order. All deliverables must include a Certificate of Conformance, applicable physical test results, and packing slips. Offerors must hold prices firm for 60 days and maintain SAM registration throughout performance. The Government intends to award all eight line items to a single offeror and will not consider partial offers. Test fitting of skid plates on a 2026 Ford F-150 Crew Cab 4x4 is available at Bastrop or Victorville within 60 days of award. Amendment 0001, issued August 3, 2026, removed the Credit Release Form submission requirement, removed FAR Clause 52.225-5 (Trade Agreements), and clarified scope to Motor Vehicle Steering and Suspension Components. Proposals must be submitted to Aaron.Mitchell2@usdoj.gov.
