About this opportunity

The United States Postal Service, in collaboration with the US Postal Inspection Service, has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential suppliers capable of providing preventative maintenance and repair services for approximately 500 Integrated Security and Investigative Platform (ISIP) closed-circuit television systems nationwide. The services encompass routine inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs and replacements, software updates, and emergency 24/7 support, all performed in accordance with USPS building and design standards. Qualified suppliers must demonstrate a minimum of five years of CCTV industry experience and possess current certifications to install products from three specific manufacturers: Axis, March Networks, and Hanwha Vision. Interested parties must submit a capabilities statement that includes company experience, documentation of at least three relevant preventative maintenance or repair projects, and designated points of contact. The RFI was released on August 25, 2025, with responses due by September 22, 2025, and submissions should be directed to Angela Johnson, Valerie Lumsden, and Erik Speelmans with the subject line "USPS National CCTV PM RFI."

This opportunity does not include any set-aside designations and is open to full and open competition among eligible contractors. No incumbent contractors or current service providers are identified in the documentation, nor are any specific award values or budget ranges disclosed for the anticipated procurement. The scope involves maintaining 500 CCTV systems distributed across the United States, representing a significant national infrastructure maintenance requirement. This RFI serves solely as a market research initiative and does not constitute a commitment by USPS to proceed with a formal solicitation or enter into any contractual agreements. USPS has indicated plans to host a future event where RFI respondents will be invited to participate, suggesting additional engagement opportunities following the information gathering phase. The responses will inform USPS planning and competition strategies for what appears to be a substantial multi-year maintenance contract covering critical security infrastructure.
