About this opportunity

The United States Postal Service is conducting market research through a Request for Information to identify suppliers for small and medium size break-fix construction projects, with responses due January 1, 2027. This RFI is not a solicitation and does not constitute a commitment to contract, fund, or reimburse response costs. USPS intends to use supplier information gathered through this RFI to develop acquisition strategies and requirements documents for Design-Build, Repair and Alteration, and Break-Fix construction work.

Respondents must submit detailed narratives addressing geographic service capability, ability to perform multiple construction disciplines across simultaneous locations, approach to emergency and urgent work including response time and mobilization, types of work performed, self-performance levels, and subcontracting strategy. A second section requires yes-or-no responses to four additional questions; suppliers may optionally explain their answers. All responses must be submitted in Adobe format to FFA-Supplierdata@usps.gov.

No set-aside is anticipated. The RFI does not specify place of performance, anticipated volume, timeframe for potential follow-on solicitations, or budget authorization. This is preliminary market research only, designed to populate USPS's supplier pool for future construction opportunities across its facilities and fleet portfolio.
