About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Information Operations (EMS) Division is seeking a contractor to lease 20 Multi-functional Devices (MFDs) for various locations in Hawaii. This Request for Information (RFI) aims to assess market interest and vendor capabilities for a comprehensive 5-month lease that includes device installation, removal, full-service maintenance, consumable supplies, key operator training, reporting, relocations, and network functionality and security. The primary contract requirement is for vendors to deliver and make all 20 devices operational by April 1, 2025, with a base period from April 1, 2025 to May 31, 2025, and three potential one-month optional extensions through August 31, 2025. Interested vendors must submit their business information, including business name, DUNS number, CAGE code, and point of contact details, by email to Tyler Bowman (Contract Specialist) or David Corvino (Contracting Officer) no later than March 19, 2025, at 11:00 AM EST. The RFI emphasizes that this is a voluntary information-gathering process and that the government will not compensate respondents for any costs incurred in preparing their responses.

The pre-solicitation notice indicates no specific set-aside designations for this contract opportunity. The lease will cover MFDs across multiple military facilities in Hawaii, including Pacific Missile Range Facility, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, and various other military locations such as COMSUBPAC, ATGMIDPAC, JMAST PAC Hawaii, and COMNAVSURFPAC. While no specific award value or budget range is explicitly stated, the contract encompasses a comprehensive service package for 20 devices over a potential 5-month period. The procurement falls under NAICS category 532420 for Office Machinery and Equipment Rental and Leasing and PSC category 3610 for Printing, Duplicating, and Bookbinding Equipment. The government's approach through this RFI suggests a thorough market research process to identify qualified vendors capable of meeting the precise technical and logistical requirements for MFD leasing and support in the Hawaiian military network.
