This Award Notice provides details for the Universal Service Contract 9 (USC-9) opportunity issued by the Department of Defense United States Transportation Command. USTRANSCOM has awarded twenty-eight (28) contracts under solicitation HTC711-19-R-W001. Performance under this contract includes providing cargo transportation and distribution services using regularly scheduled commercial liner service for requirements that may arise in any part of the world. Although ocean transportation is the principal purpose of this contract, carriers must be capable of providing ocean, intermodal, and related transportation and distribution services to support their offered services as required. The period of performance consists of a base period (1 September 2019 through 31 August 2020), an option period one (1 September 2020 through 31 August 2021), an option period two (1 September 2021 through 31 August 2022), an option period three (1 September 2022 through 31 August 2023), and option period four (1 September 2023 through 31 August 2024), and an optional six month extension (1 September 2024 through 1 March 2025), if applicable.
