The Marine Corps Systems Command has a requirement for Underwater Egress Training (UET). The mission of the UET program is to train Marines and other authorized personnel how to egress from sinking or submerged platforms (i.e., aircraft, amphibious, and ground vehicles), including the use of life support equipment, e.g., Supplemental Emergency Breathing Devices (SEBDs) and Life Preserver Units (LPUs) to increase survival rates. The contractor shall ensure all requirements of this UET PWS and appendices are fulfilled, to include at a minimum:
• UET training systems scheduled for training are RFT prior to all scheduled training events
• Contractor workforce is properly trained and equipped to complete required tasks
• GFP is maintained, inventoried, and accountability documented, and
• All UET training systems and devices are restored to RFT at the completion of all maintenance tasks.
