About this opportunity

The US Embassy Brasilia has issued a Special Notice announcing the completion of their evaluation process and contract award for occupational health services for Locally Employed Staff (LES). The Department of State agency received five quotations in response to their solicitation, which was advertised through the US Embassy website and SAM.gov. After evaluating submissions based on technical and price factors outlined in Section 4 of the original solicitation, the contract was awarded to BMPC Gestao Saude. The award covers occupational medical labor services for the American Embassy Brasilia and its American Consulates throughout Brazil. The notice serves as official notification to unsuccessful bidders regarding the award decision and provides transparency in the procurement process.

The contract award encompasses a base period from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026, with a value of BRL R$ 257,321.76 for the basic period and a total potential value of BRL R$ 1,286,608.80 including all options. The procurement falls under NAICS code 62199 for All Other Ambulatory Health Care Services and PSC code Q403 for Medical Evaluation/Screening services. The award was made in strict accordance with the evaluation criteria established in the original solicitation, with unsuccessful bidders being informed that their offers were not the lowest priced to the US Government based on the evaluation factors. The notice indicates that firms were invited to participate through open solicitation methods, and the selection process followed standard federal procurement evaluation procedures. The deadline for this special notice is July 31, 2025, likely representing the period for any potential protests or inquiries regarding the award decision.
