About this opportunity

The Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command's 502d Contracting Squadron is seeking to procure one TEEClean Automated TEE Probe Cleaner Disinfector with TEEZyme Cleaner for delivery to the 59th MDW-WHASC-Lackland facility at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. The procurement includes a comprehensive equipment package featuring the main CS-TCD100S cleaner/disinfector unit along with accessories such as high-level disinfectant, vapor management kit, water filters, installation and training services, tip protector sample kit, and web-based training with a five-user license. The government intends to award a firm-fixed price delivery order and will evaluate proposals using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) approach with two primary factors: Technical acceptability and Total Evaluated Price. Technical acceptability will be determined by compliance with the attached equipment list and supplies schedule, while the award will go to the responsible vendor offering the lowest overall total evaluated price whose products meet technical requirements. The solicitation was posted on July 16, 2025, with a response deadline of July 31, 2025 at 2:00 PM CDT, and potential vendors can direct questions to Charles House and Sharla Blalock via email before July 24, 2024.

This procurement is designated as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS code 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing) with a size standard of 200 employees. The solicitation documentation indicates this is effectively a single-source procurement for CS Medical equipment, as evidenced by the brand name justification that emphasizes the system's unique capabilities and the cardiology staff's commitment to this specific solution. The procurement involves one lot of equipment with the specific model numbers and accessories clearly defined in the attached equipment list, including a one-year warranty and freight F.O.B. destination terms. The justification notes that this system is expected to save the clinic an estimated $24,000 annually in lost procedure time while addressing space constraints and infrastructural limitations in the cardiology clinic setting. Performance will take place at the Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland facility in Texas, with vendors required to specify their proposed calendar days after receipt of order (ARO) for completion of the line item.
