Place of performance is Lufkin, Texas. The procurement requires replacement of an existing Montgomery Kone 2500-pound passenger elevator with a non-proprietary unit meeting equivalent or superior specifications. The replacement must include a digital closed-loop microprocessor-based traction control system, optical door protection, handsfree emergency phone, LED lighting, and full compliance with ASME/ANSI A17.1 and ADA standards. The contractor must be a reputable elevator service provider with assigned journeyman-level technicians holding applicable manufacturer certifications. Elevator installation must be completed within 30 calendar days from Notice to Proceed, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with extended hours requiring 48 hours advance written approval. All parts must demonstrate clear traceability to the Original Equipment Manufacturer with certificates of conformance submitted per FAR 52.246-15.
