This document is a Register of Wage Determinations issued by the U.S. Department of Labor's Employment Standards Administration, Wage and Hour Division, applicable to federal service contracts in seven Texas counties: Angelina, Jasper, Nacogdoches, Polk, Sabine, San Augustine, Shelby, and Tyler.
The wage determination (No. 2015-5279, Revision 32, effective May 13, 2026) establishes prevailing wage rates for approximately 200+ occupational classifications required under Service Contract Act coverage. Occupations span administrative support (clerks, receptionists, schedulers), automotive service, food preparation, furniture maintenance and repair, general services and support, health occupations (nursing assistants, medical technicians, licensed practical nurses, certified occupational therapist assistants), information and arts (exhibits specialists, illustrators, librarians, photographers), information technology (computer operators, programmers, systems analysts), instructional occupations (training instructors, educators), laundry and dry cleaning, machine tool operations, materials handling and packing, mechanics and maintenance and repair, personal needs occupations, plant and system operations, protective services (guards, police officers, security officers), recreation and longshoreshoreman occupations, technical occupations (air traffic control specialists, engineering technicians, drafters), and transportation and mobile equipment operations. Hourly wage rates range from approximately $9.01 to $57.52 per hour depending on classification level and experience. The determination includes provisions for fringe benefits, paid sick leave under Executive Order 13706, vacation accrual, holidays, hazardous duty differentials, night pay differentials, uniform allowances, and special requirements for computer professionals and air traffic controllers. Contractors must conform any unlisted occupations to listed classifications through established procedures outlined in 29 CFR 4.6(b)(2).
