About this opportunity
The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service (IHS), a component of the Department of Health and Human Services, is conducting market research for staff development training services for the Office of Environmental Health and Engineering (OEHE) for fiscal years 2025-2028. The training will focus on leadership and personal development, including webinars, online courses, and customized training workshops ranging from 2-hour to multi-day sessions for audiences of 20-100 attendees. Interested businesses must submit a detailed Statement of Capabilities (SOC) demonstrating their ability to manage services, including past performance documentation, contract dollar values, employee details, and relevant contact information. Respondents are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Invoice Processing Platform (IPP), and must provide information about their business classification, such as Small Business Indian Firm, Veteran-Owned, or Woman-Owned status. All responses must be submitted to Stephanie Begay via email by February 13, 2025, at 12:00 PM Mountain Time, with the purpose of helping the government determine the appropriate acquisition method.
The pre-solicitation notice indicates a potential 100% set-aside for Small Business Indian Firms or small business concerns, with the NAICS category classified under Professional and Management Development Training (611430). While no specific award value is mentioned, the Statement of Work suggests a comprehensive training program covering leadership development, supervisory skills, and team-building across IHS geographic areas. The contractor will be responsible for providing qualified instructors with expertise in staff development and leadership training, including all training materials and instructor travel expenses. The target audience includes professional and non-professional staff in engineering, environmental health, public health, and facility management. The contract period appears to span three years (FY 2025-2028), with training deliverables including sessions, webinars, course materials, and completed course evaluations to be submitted within two weeks after each event.
