About this opportunity
U.S. Army Contracting Command, Office of Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Division announced on August 10, 2026 its intent to sole-source a firm fixed price maintenance contract to Stratasys, Inc. for comprehensive preventative and corrective maintenance of four Stratasys 3D printer systems (F900, F3300, J850, H350) at U.S. Army Natick Soldier Systems Center, with contract award anticipated by August 31, 2026. Competition is restricted to Stratasys because the systems are proprietary; Stratasys controls repair parts, manuals, and serial number-specific components and does not authorize or train third parties to perform maintenance or repairs. The performance period runs from September 1, 2026 through November 21, 2027, with potential extension up to six months under FAR 52.217-8. Funding sources are FY2026 Operations & Maintenance, Army (OMA) and Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) accounts. All responsible sources may submit capability statements, proposals, or quotations demonstrating how they can provide the requirements without incurring unacceptable delays or duplicative costs to the Government; responses must be submitted via email to Edmund J. Bousaleh (edmund.j.bousaleh.civ@army.mil) and Alejandro Ayala (alejandro.ayala.civ@army.mil) no later than 1200 HRS EDT August 26, 2026. The contracting officer retains discretion whether to award this sole-source contract.
