About this opportunity
Pacific Air Forces is requesting information on IDS expansion scoping support for Eielson Air Force Base, Alaska, with questions due by June 19, 2026. This is a sources-sought notice, not a formal solicitation; quotes will not be accepted.
The scope covers a 180-day baseline assessment, comprehensive inventory, upgrade scoping, and system design for the Vindicator Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Access Control System (ACS) infrastructure at Eielson AFB and associated Geographically Separated Units. Work encompasses five primary tasks: project management and coordination, comprehensive assessment and baseline inventory documenting current IDS/ACS components and lifecycle status, site surveys for Munitions & Airfield coverage and optical solutions upgrade (License Plate Readers to 1080p or 4K), system design and engineering incorporating the V6 Vindicator platform with DoD Risk Management Framework and DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) compliance, and sparing and maintenance strategy. Deliverables include a Project Management Plan with Plan of Action and Milestones within 15 days of contract award, site survey and inventory report within 45 days, and tiered Integrated Design Plan submissions at 30, 60, 90, and 100 percent completion milestones (60–150 days), with final Bill of Materials reflecting current market pricing.
Contractor personnel require Secret or Top Secret/SCI clearances for restricted area surveys with continuous government escort. All project data is Controlled Unclassified Information requiring secure DoD-approved transmission. Work includes facility infrastructure assessment for fiber optic cabling deployment (8–10 mile overhead backbone with 24+ strand capacity) and Cisco switchgear integration across Owner, Security Access Protection, and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility spaces.
NAICS 561621; PSC H363.
