About this opportunity

This Special Notice from the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM) amends an existing contract to onboard additional vendors to the SOCOM Unique Munitions Requirements (SUMR) contract. The SUMR contract provides SOCOM with various small caliber munitions, including commercial, modified commercial, and government-designed munitions.

The amendment allows additional vendors to qualify under previously established evaluation criteria to supply contracted munitions and furnish specification conformance data as required by individual delivery orders. Delivery orders will specify technical data vendors must provide to demonstrate performance or compliance with specifications, such as electronic pressure velocity and action time testing results, dispersion data, packaging details, and terminal ballistics analyses. Interested contractors must review the amendment and associated files by March 22, 2024 to understand eligibility criteria to participate and requirements for responding to future solicitation opportunities issued against the SUMR contract.
