About this opportunity

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime seeks socket head cap screws conforming to FF-S-86 specifications, with quotations due August 13, 2026. This procurement is a 100% small business set-aside using simplified acquisition procedures for commercial items and Lowest Price Technically Acceptable evaluation.

Place of performance is Kittery, Maine (Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Building 170). The requirement consists of two line items: 50 socket head cap screws per Attachment 1 (0.4375-20UNF-3A X 2.000 inches, nickel plated, QQ-N-286G, annealed and age hardened, head drilled for lockwire per FF-S-86 Type VI) and 200 socket head cap screws per Attachment 2 (0.375-16UNC-3A X 1.750 inches, same material and treatment specifications). Delivery is required as soon as possible, with FOB Destination pricing to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.

Offerors must submit descriptive literature demonstrating specification compliance and are required to furnish two data items with each delivery: Certificate of Compliance (DI-MISC-81356A) and Certification Data/Report with quantitative test results (DI-MISC-80678). Offerors must be registered in SAM as active, comply with DFARS Buy American Act provisions, and provide representations on covered defense telecommunications equipment and NIST SP 800-171 DoD Assessment compliance if applicable. Quotations must include company information and business size certification. Inspection is QA-2 with 45-day inspection time at destination. Payment terms are Net 30 after material acceptance.
