Scope includes replacement of approximately 25 ceiling tiles, replacement of 20 fluorescent light fixtures with LED lighting, testing and balancing to confirm 15-ton cooling capacity and minimum 6,000 CFM delivery per unit, provision of maintenance equipment for R-454b systems, an arc flash study with updated protective device coordination analysis, four hours of facility personnel training, electrical work per FAA specifications, security bar installation at exterior wall penetrations per FAA Order 1600.69D, and operation and maintenance instructions. The contractor must maintain a 24/7 operational status throughout performance and coordinate all work on a not-to-interfere-with-FAA-operations basis. Contractors must provide performance and payment bonds equal to the award amount within 5 calendar days of award and meet minimum insurance requirements: general public liability of $500,000 per occurrence and $100,000 per person, plus worker's compensation and employer liability of at least $100,000. Davis-Bacon wage determinations apply. An optional site visit is scheduled for July 28, 2026, at 10:00 AM; questions are due July 31, 2026, at 2:00 PM EST.
